Mid-week Wine Tasting

We were thrilled to be invited to a mid-week wine tasting. Such a mid-week treat! Who needs to wait till the weekend to enjoy the beautiful weather we are being treated to? Not me. Oh no, we took big fat advantage of Mother Nature's gift of a warm evening. There really is nothing like walking through the park to a wine bar to have a wonderful host in Shaun at the Wine Bank so readily discuss the finer points of various different wines. My pick was a champagne, the most expensive - of course. We topped the evening off with - wait for it - more wine tasting! This time at La Piazza  with Sandhurst Ridge and Munari wines, who were excellent hosts. More wine tastings I say!

You know when you look at your calendar and realise that every weekend for the next 10 are full up with exciting things to do and see, but deep down you want for a little relax time? Well this weekend, relax I did. And excellently. Books, flowers, family, beers and babies (not mine, I got to give the adorable thing back). Now it's time to get hectic again.
